Server Installations

We are able to offer a comprehensive installation service to compliment the purchase of your new server from our product range. An experienced Engineer will carry out the following activities;

• Pre-installation online check of existing system configuration
• Agree installation date and any downtime required for data transfer
• On-site secure data transfer of supported software – e.g. SIMS, Finance
• Installation of approved backup software if purchased  
• Transfer of domain accounts, policies, roles, passwords
• Test and commission new server and obtain works sign-off
• Decommission old server (shutdown and remove from domain) unless otherwise agreed before hand
• Other software will only be installed if licence keys or proof of entitlement is available along with the install media.
