What is ransomware?

The Department for Education (DFE) and National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) have recently written to all schools to raise awareness of the increasing threat of ransomware attacks.

Lancashire County Council Education Digital Services have sent out additional information via the Lancashire Schools' Portal and email to help our subscribing schools understand how the services we provide can help protect them. We have also added useful links to the NCSC on our Safeguarding and Security support page.
