Lancashire County Council Education Digital Services are helping schools' prepare for SIMS Next Gen!

By following the below steps you will be ready to on-board your school with SIMS Next Gen, which will enable teachers to take the register for their classes and much more. When the register is saved or changed, the data is synchronised back to your SIMS Server.

SIMS Next Gen offers a new and easy to use interface as well as features not available in the on-premise version of SIMS.

Microsoft 365 Unique Identities 

Ensure that all staff have their own unique Microsoft 365 account. Learn more about the importance of Unique Identities here. 

 

Microsoft 365 Multi-Factor Authentication 

Ensure that Multi-Factor Authentication is implemented on each Unique Identity. Learn more about MFA here.

 

SIMS Next Gen Set-up Process

Once the above steps are complete, contact us to discuss getting your school set-up to use SIMS Next Gen.
