Early Years and Key Stage Assessment
Who is this course for?
This half day course is most suited for those with a responsibility for submitting and/or analysing Key Stage Assessments working in roles such as Assessment Lead Teachers, Senior Leaders, Bursars, Office Managers, and Administrators.
Aims
To help schools understand the inbuilt resources available in SIMS to assist with the completion and submission of Early Years and Key Stage Statutory Assessments and provide a clear overview of the Key Stage Statutory Returns process.
Objectives
By the end of the training, you will have the skills and knowledge to complete the recording and submission of Early Years and Key Stage Statutory Assessments. This will include:
- Understanding how the Wizards are used to record EYFS, Phonics, KS1, MTC and KS2 TA and test results
- Understanding the benefit of recording this data in SIMS – links to other resources, reports for parents, transferrable between school via CTF
- Importing the Key Stage Wizards and Housekeeping
- Creating Assessment User Defined Cohorts
- Recording data in the wizard marksheets – manually and electronically via import routine
- Creating school destinations/alternative destinations for CTFs to be submitted to the LA and DfE
- Creating and exporting CTFs
- Producing reports for parents
- Understanding the benefits of utilising the EYFTR and RWM inbuilt resources
- Understanding the benefits of importing the Primary Assessment Whole School Summary template
Cost
The cost of this one-day course is £90 per delegate.
