Managing Attendance in SIMS
Who is this course for?
This course would be most suitable for an attendance officer, attendance leads either from SLT or within school. It is aimed at new and current staff.
Aims
To provide participants with the skills and tools to identify areas of concern and success within a school’s attendance. Participants will be able to monitor the impact of the actions they take to help improve attendance using the SIMS attendance tools.
Objectives
At the end of the course, participants will:
- Know how to use the tools in SIMS to help manage and improve attendance
- Know how to use the built-in SIMS attendance reports to identify concerns in school (groups and individuals)
- Be able to produce attendance letters from within SIMS which can be auto-populated to save time
- Receive an in-depth and informative session on the new Power BI report created using SIMS
