Who is this course for?
The purpose of this course is to ensure Headteachers know the full capability of SIMS and the functions within school it can support.
Aims
This course aims to show the best practice use of SIMS to leverage maximum return of investment.
Objectives
At the end of the course participants will have a good understanding of the following key assessment resources:
- Understand the importance of managing SIMS Users, different types of permissions and how to change user permissions
- Understand the information within the School Report, the options available when selecting what to view and how to run the school report
- Knowledge of the tools available to support improved attendance, run key reports to analyse attendance data and the options for tracking attendance within SIMS
- Create behaviour and achievement items, know the reporting options in the conduct area and the customisation options
- Understand the range of assessment models, explain and understanding the key components and benefits of SISM assessment data
- Manage pupil's SEN data, understand the reporting options from the SEN module and the customisation options
- Manage pupil's medical data, the reporting options within the medical panel and understand the customisation options
